Arkansas Oilstone with Grinding Oil
Natural Arkansas stone is unusually hard (approx. 20 times harder than marble),very fine and compact. These properties make the stone very valuable aswhetstone and re-grinding stone, but is not suitable for re-drawing. It istherefore not a quick sharpener but the cutting edges produced by it with thin-bodied oil, are free from burrs and grooves, - you could almost say they were polished. It is this feature which has given genuine, natural Arkansas stone itsgood reputation in professional circles. Size 100 x 50 x 10mm. Including a bottle of grinding oil (100ml). |
